Windows Phone 7 Apps – A Revolution in Mobile Software?

It’s not that long since Microsoft revamped Windows with their Windows 7 and made casual users and reviewers rejoice over the stunning looks and functionality. Of course, not many people understood all the changes done – and they were many – but the operating system did mark a highpoint for Microsoft. With the launch of Windows Phone 7 at the Barcelona Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest software developer has finally gotten back in the game of mobile operating systems. The Windows Phone 7 series is a totally different mobile OS, written from scratch that should herald a revolutionary change in mobile operating systems.

What a lot of people want to know is how the Windows Phone 7 Apps system will work out? To be honest, these apps have the potential to be real iPhone killers. They just look so darn good. Microsoft has definitely delivered.

There are many reasons to be excited for the future of Windows Phone 7 apps. One nifty feature is that the apps are shown as ‘live’ tiles, meaning that they will continue to show content while in their minimized form and they look great. The main interface that makes up the apps is centered around hubs, for example ‘office’, ‘pictures’,'games’ and so on. You could call this the main hubs if you will. There’s also the ‘People’ hub which is great for checking up on what your friends are doing. You can actually see all of your social networking news on just one screen, probably the most innovative social media creation for a mobile phone. The apps are unrestricted by screen size, which means you can zoom in and out and pan across them, allowing for a much more enjoyable and flexible use.

Of course, there are also the games and graphics and those may be one of the big selling points of Windows Phone 7. Windows Phone 7 uses Silverlight, the Microsoft variant of Adobe Flash and that gives Microsoft a leg up on competitors which do not support Flash, namely the iPhone. Graphically, this looks like a no contest. Silverlight has gotten a reputation for creating great looking graphics and it will be very exciting to see what third party developers can come up with. X-Box Live is also integrated into the OS, which promises some interesting possibilities. The future of mobile gaming belongs to the smartphones and Microsoft has recognized this. It will certainly be interesting to follow.

Mobile Computing Software

Mobile computing software is used in portable computing devices such as laptops, notebook PCs, tablet PCs, palmtops, personal digital assistant (PDAs) and other hand held devices. The software allows users to perform all the functions that are possible in a standard desktop PC connected to a LAN(local area network) or WAN(wide area network) network.

It allows individual users to access the Internet, send and receive e-mails, and download electronic content. Users can work on windows word document, excel spreadsheets, and make audio/video presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. They can draw images and write text messages in devices that use touch sensitive screens and digital pens. It can also be used to download audio files such as mp3.

The software is also used in various hand held devices such as PDAs ( personal digital assistant) and pocket PCs. It is used to create business documents used by businesses worldwide. It allows manufacturer representatives to carry detailed price codes and other technical data in their pocket PCs. Healthcare professionals can use it to record patient details and lab results and transfer it to a main computer. Lawyers can use it to view codes or rules during the course of a trial. Finance professionals use it to view credit ratings and consult SEC (securities and exchange commission) regulations.

It is used in industrial mobile computing devices to help in production and inventory management. It is used in devices such as wireless bar code readers for recording each item that enters or goes out of the production house or warehouse.

A mobile computing software is designed to be used with a particular type of computing device. Users are recommended to check the compatibility of the software before making the purchase decision. They also have the option to download freeware from the Internet or order customized software to suit specific operational or professional needs.

Tracking a Cell Phone Anonymously Using Mobile Software

The advent of mobile-communication has simplified our lives in so many ways. GSM phones of today offer far more than just voice calls and text messaging. Many GSM based phones of the day support GPS which means that a user can constantly keep track of his/her location, through satellite navigation. But what if you are interested in tracking real-time location of one of your family members or loved ones? For example, concerned parents might want to make sure that their son or daughter is attending school and not wasting their hard earned money by skipping classes. So how can a parent verify the exact real-time location of their son or daughter?

Mobile spy software provides the answer. Among other spy options, it allows anonymous phone tracking. The software requires a one-time installation on the target mobile phone. Thereafter, all its features, including mobile phone tracking can be controlled remotely by sending SMS messages to the target phone, from another cell phone with a predefined number.

To activate the cell phone tracker feature, you are simply required to send a text message to the target mobile phone. The spy software in the target phone communicates with its embedded GPS device and gets the required data. Immediately afterwards, the target phone responds with a text message containing the coordinates (latitude and longitude), altitude and the cell ID of the target cell phone. You can then trace the exact location by simply logging the coordinates (latitude and longitude) in an online map such as Google Earth.

Mobile phone tracking has never been this easier.
